Please support Alison's charity jump for Julia's House
Our very own Alison Jordan will soon be zooming through the sky in a bid to raise money for a Dorset children’s hospice Julia's House. Alison was inspired to sign up for a charity parachute jump after Dike’s made Julia’s House its chosen charity of 2009. She says: “I picked up one of their leaflets in the staff room and thought I’d like to give it a go. It’s a tandem jump and the idea of being strapped to a marine appealed to me.”
Her 13,000 ft jump will take place on the 15th August at a military base near Salisbury.

Charities benefit from our bins
Unwanted books, CDs, and DVDs and videos can now be recycled in our car park in the big red recycling bin for the British Heart Foundation. And you can put all your tidy and clean items of clothing into our clothes bin to raise money for the Somerset and Dorset Air Ambulance.
