Help us to support Future Roots

Last year we raised £2,000 for Riding for the Disabled Association groups in Milton Abbas and Henstridge, and the year before we raised £2,500 for Dorset children's hospice Julia's House.
Dike & Son's chosen good cause for this year is Future Roots, an initiative that helps people to get back in touch with the countryside and farming. The project uses the environment and activity of a working farm to enable people from young children to the elderly to discover new skills, learning and confidence, as well as learn about where their food comes from.
Funds raised over the year in-store at Dike's of Stalbridge will help pay for local primary schools to enable whole classes to spend a day at the farm near Holwell, as well as providing the opportunity for schools to borrow an incubator so that pupils can watch chicks being hatched out in the classroom.
