Our store

Our new store is huge, which is why we have lots of friendly staff to steer you in the right direction.

We have a large grocery department, a tempting bakery section, fresh meat and fish counters with lots of free range local produce, a delicatessen for cheeses, olives, home-made pies and cakes. Our frozen food area has a novel self-serve section where you can scoop up just the right amount of raspberries or mini Danish pastries and bag them up yourself to take home.

You’ll find wines, beers, ciders and spirits in abundance. We also sell newspapers and magazines as well as stationery, toys and cards. You can rent a DVD and rush home to watch it, or you can while away an hour having tea and cake in William’s Farmhouse Café.

What else? Oh yes! We’ve now got a free cashpoint machine. It’s outside the shop under our covered walkway, so your tenners won’t get wet. And it’s available 24 hours a day.

Parking is a doddle. We have 90 spaces and they are all free! We have disabled and child spaces are right outside the shop, and for those who want to keep fit, we have bike racks, dog tie-ups and a special place to park a pony (yes, we do sell hay).

To top it all, we have nine speedy checkouts to whizz you on your way without any hold ups. (But if you buy more than you can carry, which often happens, we can deliver it to you – see our useful information page).
