Do you think we are are only obsessed with food? No no! We like to sell lots of things that you can’t eat, such as wrapping paper and door stops (hand carved locally), dish cloths and rubber bands.

Stationery and toys

You can buy newspapers and magazines, lottery tickets, everyday home and school stationery, gift wrap, greetings cards and children’s crafty stuff. We also do a good line in jigsaws and toys. Guess what? Even some of our books are locally sourced – we have a selection of local authors’ works as well as best-selling paperbacks.

Toiletries

We have a range of toiletries and everyday remedies, including children’s medicines and vitamins.

Pets

Cat, dog, rabbit, hamster and fish food and bedding/litter is available, as well as wild bird food and nesting boxes. And we also do doormats so they can wipe their muddy feet.

Cookware

Ok so you’ve bought some food. What next? We can help you there: we also sell sturdy pots to cook it in, plates to put it on, shiny cutlery to eat it with and pretty napkins to wipe the gravy from your chin. You can buy tasteful serving dishes, chopping boards and kitchen utensils – some of them make great gifts too.

DVD hire

We've got all the latest releases as well as the old favourites, which you can rent for just £2.50 a night. (And while you're snuggling on the sofa why not tuck into some juicy stuffed olives and tangy dippy stuff from our Olives Et Al range - or, for the more sweet-toothed among you, our very own delicious toffee-coated popcorn.)
